Mike is 70 years young and the incumbent Chair Man of the East Yorkshire Region of the Federation of Small Business. He is actively involved in the City of Culture 2015 project, the Regional LEADER Board and works with the local LEP Board. He is Chair of Dragon Fest and a renown wood sculptor.

Mike has a compelling personal journey involving businesses, art and community.
He has featured in the Yorkshire Cultural Road show, Capitalists@work and has a very high profile not only in the UK but the Netherlands too.We would describe Mike as a social entrepreneur who is arguably one of the best connected people in the North East of the UK.
